I'm the victim, accused fake forecaster Kevin Martin claims yet again!

SAN DIEGO - A man infamous for creating fake online weather forecasts is giving his side of the story.

Kevin Martin is under federal investigation for threats he made against the local National Weather Service office, but now he claims he is the victim.

He admits he has no education in weather forecasting but runs a site dedicated to providing what he calls accurate weather forecasts -- more accurate, he claims, than the National Weather Service.

He's been under the National Weather Service's radar for a long time. It was a false Katrina-style hurricane prediction that promoted NWS to call him out publicly.

Martin denies creating the forecast, blaming it on an inexperienced friend who placed it on his site, but admits his beef with the National Weather Service is real.

We asked if he threatened the folks at the National Weather Service and he said "not physically - you see in my way of believing, a threat has to be physical."

In a slew of online videos, Martin threatens Google and Facebook, but says there's a reason why he won't ever be arrested.

"I do my threats in a way where it screws with their mind mentally," he said.

Beyond the National Weather Service, several other weather forecasters have also accused Martin of threatening them, including one man who emailed 10News to say Martin placed false information online that he was a child molester.

Martin admitted to making false claims against other forecasters, but said he is only fighting back against the personal attacks on him.
